"Surgical Techniques of the Shoulder"
Eric Hohn, MD

Dr. Eric Hohn completed medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, Orthopedic Residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco and a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Hohn has written scientific publications on various orthopedic conditions and is currently conducting several research projects on injuries related to competitive surfing. As an avid surfer, He has first-hand knowledge of the unique demands of athletes.

He practices individualized care through comprehensive evaluation and patient-specific treatment designed to help his patients maintain an active, pain-free lifestyle.  Central to his approach is his firm belief that knowledgeable patients make the best decisions about their treatment and can help guide the diagnostic and treatment process. Dr. Hohn employs both non-surgical and operative approaches using leading techniques to provide his patients with the best orthopedic care possible.

Dr. Hohn will be presenting modern surgical techniques used for the shoulder joint.

 

 “ CPTA Assembly of Representatives”
Bob Williams, PT – San Jose District Chief Representative

The CPTA Assembly of Representatives is scheduled to meet to conduct CPTA business on Friday Sept. 15, just prior to the 2017 CPTA Annual Conference in San Diego.  Bob Williams, Chief Representative for the San Jose District, will lead a discussion on the business of the Assembly.  The San Jose District representatives have proposed several motions to the Assembly of Representatives and our representatives look forward to hearing your thoughts on these and other motions affecting CPTA and the profession, to best represent the members of the San Jose District.
